This course introduces the student to a comprehensive overview of real estate development including site acquisition, project feasibility, public incentives, lease agreements, project financing, development process, acquisition due diligence and historic tax credits. The course includes case studies, guest lecturers, and field trips focusing on recent renovation projects in downtown Buffalo.
