This course provides advanced empirical methods for Ph.D. students in planning, policy, geography, economics, or related fields. For many Ph.D. students, the first research project of their academic career can be challenging. At first, it may be difficult to apply theoretic models students have learned to real world projects. The objective of this course, therefore, is to facilitate the empirical application of the methods taught during this course which are most widely applied in social science.
